Genting SkyAvenue Medan Selera Food Court for Malay Food & More!

Medan Selera is a newly opened food court at the basement of SkyAvenue Mall. Tucked under one roof are five different stalls, namely Rice & Spice, Noodles, Laksa, Western Asian and Crispy Chips, offering five kinds of crowd-favourite cuisines.

The 250-seater food court is opened from 8AM to 10PM daily,  where a Light Breakfast Set promotion runs at only RM12. Diners can choose from Nasi Lemak, Nasi Dagang, Nasi Kerabu, Fried Mee, Fried Rice, Roti Telur, Roti John, Chicken Curry with Puree bread and more, while pairing it with a hot or cold drink.

At Rice & Spice, be prepared to load on carbs, a Malaysian staple, together with a variety of side dishes ranging from the crispy chicken thigh, spicy crab, curry vegetables and so on. The appetising sight of the sauces made me want to try all. Can’t decide? You can simply opt for the Nasi Lemak, Nasi Briyani and Nasi Kandar.

The Noodles station will satisfy the noodle lover in you with the smoky Char Kway Teow, hearty Mee Bandung, light soupy Bakso and spicy Singaporean Fried Bee Hoon.

A store specifically for Laksa? Yes, you heard me right! You can indulge to your heart’s content with the Nyonya Laksa, Laksa Johor, Laksa Kelantan and Assam Laksa.

For those who crave for a hearty meal, the Western Asian would feed you well with grilled meats and Arabic breads, such as the Chicken and Lamb Shawarma, Grilled Chicken Shish Tawook and Kebab, Roasted Chicken Leg, Seafood Rice and Middle Eastern breads like Zaatar Manakich, Mohamara and Cheese Bread.

Aptly named Crispy Chips, expect to munch on Crispy Fried Chicken, Chicken Popcorn, Fish & Chips, Calamari Rings and French Fries – anything fried and crispy.
