Available from 9 August to 31 October 2023, Sky22 at Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena is serving a new Sin-Ma Set Dinner menu which features a combination of familiar food fare from Singapore and Malaysia.

Admire the city skyline while dining with a view at the 22nd level of the hotel too.

Helmed by Executive Chef John Chye and team, enjoy a farm-to-table sustainable dining experience with homely dishes cooked using locally sourced ingredients and cage-free eggs.

Highlights include Otak-otah Croquettes (made with Lim Chu Kang grey mullet), Changi Ikan Sumbat Sambal (grilled locally-farmed red snapper), Beef Cheek Rendang, Penang Laksa, Penang Char Kway Teow and Satay Bohong (kurobuta pork skewer).

For starters, there are also Pasembur (a type of Malaysian salad in sweet potato peanut sauce), Kueh Pie Tee (topped with crab), Soto Ayam and Bak Kut Teh to choose from.

A must-order, the Beef Cheek Rendang serves a hearty portion of slow-braised meat. Each piece of meat is chunky and tender, elevated by the thick, flavoursome stew.

Another worthy contender is the Changi Ikan Sumbat Sambal (with $10 supplement and a requirement of half an hour preparation). Featuring a whole slab of red snapper, the fish is grilled to perfection with succulent white meat and spicy sambal slathered in between.

Some other main course options are Kurma Kambing (Indian-style lamb shank), Babi Kicap (pork trotter with locally-farmed mushrooms), Singapore Laksa and Prawn Noodle Soup.

The four desserts available on the menu are Sugee Almond Butter Cake, Burbur Cha Cha, Banana Fritters and Fruit Harvest.

The Banana Fritters is addictive. Enveloped in a crispy thin coating, the banana within is soft and sweet, complemented with salted peanut caramel and creamy coconut ice cream on the side.

Also another signature, the Burbur Cha Cha rounds off the meal beautifully with a delectable portion of pandan jelly, chewy yam ball, banana slices and coconut ice cream in chilled coconut milk.
