Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur – Clean Budget Hotel in Bukit Bintang, Near many Malls

Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur is one of the better stays I had in Kuala Lumpur few months ago. Affordable pricing, convenient location and clean spacious interior are contributing factors. The reception was friendly too and also granted me an early check-in as my flight was early.

On Agoda, the price can be as low as $50 plus per night. I booked for four nights and it cost around $203.

The location is excellent. The hotel is surrounded by various shops, eateries and malls. There’s a Giant at Sungei Wang Plaza just beside it and a 7-11 store nearby, while another few minutes walk will lead you to the bustling street lined with bigger, modern malls such as Fahrenheit88, Lot10, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Berjaya Times Square. Another good thing to note is that you are less likely to get into a jam to and fro the hotel as it is located right off the main road.

My room was a Superior Twin Room (with a request for a large bed and high floor) at level 13. It was gladly an unobstructed view too.

The room was spacious enough, with a mini fridge, TV that functioned well and the usuals – bottled water, iron and toiletries (except toothpaste and toothbrush). It was also clean and diligently tidied every morning by the attendants. On the other hand, the towels were unchanged and hung back at their respective areas only. The air conditioner worked fine and cooled the room readily.

All in all, it was a good and smooth stay.
