Le Matin Patisserie, ION Orchard – New Brunch Menu, Pastries and Exclusive Coffee Blend

Le Matin Patisserie has finally found a permanent home in town at ION Orchard. Helmed by founder and skilled pastry chef Mohamed Al-Matin, Le Matin now offers a wider and exciting range of sweet and savoury pastries, and delectable brunch items.

Brunch – Available from Wednesday to Sunday, 11AM-3PM

(All brunch items come with a side of house salad)

A must-try is the Black Truffle Scrambled Eggs Croissant $34, lavished with decadent shaved black truffles atop a thick layer of creamy scrambled eggs sandwiched between crusty pastry puff. Another highlight is the Seafood Pot Pie $24, crowned with a generous serving of Ikura and a tasty filling of salmon belly, snapper, tiger prawns, green mussels, clams and scallops.

Meanwhile, the Wagyu Brioche Feuilletee $45 had us revelling in satisfaction. The marbled wagyu ribeye of MBS5+ cooked in smoked duck fat was superbly tender while paired with sweet onion marmalade and fragrant black garlic aioli. Compliment these hearty dishes with a side of Salade $8 that’s tangy and refreshing on the palate.

Dessert – Available from Wednesday to Sunday, 6-10PM

Savour carefully crafted French desserts such as the Fromage de vos Reves $21, featuring a trio of cheese-based sweets – brillat savarin mousse, reblochon creameux and comte sponge, and creme fraiche ice cream; and Tarte Aux Noix de Cajou $20, a nutty tart topped with crispy filo pastry which doesn’t disappoint at all.

Coffee enthusiasts may rejoice in the quality and taste of Le Matin’s coffee beverages that are made using the exclusive blend, Le Soleil, created in collaboration with Nylon Coffee Roasters.

Additionally, the familiar bakes are back here for dine-in and takeaways too.

Not to be missed are the Kouign Amann $7.50, Pistachio & Rose Escargot $8, Escargot Escargot $13, Smoked Cruffin $10, Fermented Mushroom Quiche $12 and Lamb and Red Wine Pie.
