Oyatsu Malaysia Cafe – Matcha Softserve & Mochi in Mahkota Parade

Oyatsu Malaysia is a Japanese-inspired dessert cafe in Mahkota Parade Shopping Centre. They sell a variety of soft serve parfaits and iced drinks.

There is a choice of Black Sesame or Matcha soft serves which you can have as a parfait cup or a float.

I had the Matcha parfait that comes with red bean and two mochi on a bed of rice krispies.

The red bean was not as smoothly blended as what you would expect and I could actually taste the bits of red bean. I like that it was not very sweet as well. The matcha ice cream was pleasant with the subtle bitterness from the matcha flavour.

On the other hand, I am not a huge fan of rice krispies as a topping.

Oyatsu Malaysia also specialises in these homemade Mochi (1 for RM3.50, 3 for RM10) with fillings such as Red Bean, Matcha and Pandan Gula Melaka.
