Oyster Lah at Singapore Expo, Food and Beverage Fair 2017

Oyster Lah is a new brand developed by owner Edward, where oysters are served in different flavours. Bearing the idea of creating something unique, Edward decides to take oysters to a whole new level by developing new flavours for the oysters. Instead of the usual combinations such as oyster with cheese or bacon, Oyster Lah has come up with something different yet tasty as well.

Here are four oysters of different flavours.

From left to right:

Sunshine:

With quail egg, black pepper and spring onions

The oyster could be tasted in its originality alongside the creamy egg.

Garlic and Shallots:

Fried garlic and shallots

The crunchy bits on top lends an extra texture to the oyster while intensifying the overall taste as well.

Butter Herbs:

Butter with mixed herbs, spring onions, garlic and sour cream

One of my favourite is this creamy and rich oyster with an aromatic fragrance to it.

Thai Sauce:

Fish sauce with onion, lime and chilli

This reminds me of Tom Yum, with a play of sweet, sour and saltiness on the tongue.
