Introducing to you the Quayside Isle @ Sentosa Cove, one of the world’s most exclusive marina residential communities. It’s got over 20 specially-curated dining options and retail stores! As we walked along the marina-front, we were surprised by how much the place didn’t feel like Singapore, but instead emanated tranquillity and peaceful vibes!
Pretty light installations and interactive rainbow arc
When night comes, you’d see the stealthily decorated trees light-up (surprise, surprise), with baubles and stringed bulbs. They start from the interactive Fountain Plaza’s Rainbow Arc and then go across the entire stretch of the marina island! Look at how beautiful the trees and bush-baubles are!
You can interact with the Rainbow Arc by pressing this button! Send light beams over the arc, as rapidly or as slowly as you want! It all depends on your wrist flicks. We felt this one would be fun for the kids – or maybe we’re just getting old (pressing it rapidly and consistently for one minute was a tiring feat).
What better way to dine with your significant other or friends than to be seated facing the marina quay, out in the open breeze, with beautiful Christmasy lights ablaze everywhere?

They say it’s perfect for all ages! These three exciting inflatables dressed in LED lights, located at the boardwalk in front of Quayside Isle, are here for a fun-filled experience. Hop onto the Bounce Express (a choo-choo train), be a Mini Ninja overcoming a series of obstacle challenges or get onto the Mini Discovery and get your hands on a world of interactive elements. Admission prices start from $6 for one inflatable. Terms and conditions apply.

Festive Dining Promotions
There are many food options, and we had the privilege of sampling some of the canapes Greenwood Fish Market (#01-04/05) so creatively cooked up. Their exclusive takeaway menu includes ready-to-eat platters, pre-prepped seafood/meat and live oysters! For savoury dishes, they’ve got the Smoked Salmon Sandwiches, which is a delight to munch into, accompanied by ikura! The salmon used in this dish is Greenwood’s in-house applewood hot smoked salmon, and it sure tastes as good as it sounds.
The Risotto Crab Cakes are made with crab cake, pumpkin puree, and rice with red beet slaw and wasabi aioli. I ate about five of these canapes (at least) and would’ve ate more if it wasn’t for the tantalising night lights that tore me away from the canape station.
The Roast Veal Bruschetta was delightful. It’s a juicy, tender and flavourful veal flown straight in from Australia.
The sweet treats were also delicious – we tried the Spiced Pumpkin Tart, which is a pumpkin pie filling accompanied with a buttery, crumbly crust. It’s also got a strawberry slice on top to give it a zesty taste!
Lastly, we had the Gingerbread Cupcakes. They’re light and fluffy cupcakes with the taste of gingerbread spices. The cupcake went so well with the whipped cream, mmmm!
Remember, these items are available as takeaway options – so you can organise your very own Christmas party without all the hassle of preparing the food bites! The exclusive takeaway menu is only from 1st to 31st December 2018.
