Helmed by the team behind Poke Twins, SHAKA by Poke Twins is a cafe in JB that offers an extensive menu of healthy poke bowls, all-day brunch and moreish snacks.

Shaka’s signature poke bowls start from RM15.90. Choices include the classic Raw Salmon RM20.90 to meatier options like Pulled Beef Brisket RM20.90 and Lemongrass Chicken RM16.90.

Adding to the collection are unique poke bowl variants – Poke-ritto (in tortilla or seaweed wrap) and Nori Tacos. Each nori taco comes with ponzu-seasoned Jasmine rice topped with a variety of ingredients such as carrots, onions, furikake, fish roe and your desired toppings like Tofu & Avocado RM10.90, Crispy Prawn RM10.90 and Unagi RM15.90. The taco shell is interestingly made of seaweed that’s crispy and easily holds all the ingredients together.

Available till 7PM, the breakfast menu offers shareable dishes like Shaka Big Breakfast RM24.90, Shaka Turkish Egg RM18.90 (made of smooth herb yogurt and poached eggs) and Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl RM16.90 (a delightful base blended with avocado, spinach and fresh milk).

Round off the meal with some of Shaka’s homemade cakes and signature bagels too!
