Shin Kee Beef Noodles 新九如新记牛肉粉 – Popular Noodle Stall in Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur

Sin Kiew Yee Shin Kee Beef Noodles 新九如新记牛肉粉 is a popular spot for beef noodles and one of those stalls that opens throughout the day – perfect for late risers like myself. There was a snaking queue when I arrived in the noontime which, fortunately, cleared quickly too.

The menu is straightforward with your choice of noodles served with Fresh Beef, Beef Ball or Mixed Beef. The small bowl is priced at RM9 and the large at RM11.

The Fresh Beef Noodle which I had, looked very appetising. There were tasty bits of minced meats atop slices of beef served with a tinge of redness in the centre. The beef slices required a bit of chew but were still tender in general. The soup was light and there is also a dry version available.
