Shopback’s Cashback Buddy Web Extension automatically notifies you the online stores to get Cashback – How good can this be!
Shopback allows us to shop smart and earn cashback for every transaction we made from their merchants. What we would usually do is to access the brand through the Shopback App and make our payment there.
Sounds good, but having so many different merchants on board, it takes an extra effort for the user to open the app and do a search before they purchase anything online.
How about making things simpler?
The Shopback Browser Extension, also known as the Cashback Buddy, is probably one of the best extension I have installed on my Chrome.
Upon installation, it will automatically notify me online stores that are eligible for Cashback from ShopBack. Whether I am already on the online platform or googling something, I will get informed and/or notified for Cashback activation.
With Cashback Buddy helping me to remember if the online stores I frequent are on Shopback, it has allowed me to make informed decisions between choosing brands that are or are not on board. Now I won’t forget to save while spending too!
The Web Extension button can be found on their website.
Since I am using Chrome, it led me to the Chrome Web Store and where I clicked ‘Add to Chrome‘. Installation was within seconds and appeared at the top right of my window.
It then prompted me for activation and soon I was ready to have my first Cashback experience on Cashback Buddy.
I headed over to Qoo10.sg where I usually purchased items from (Imagine how much I would have saved from using this function!)
Immediately, a pop-up appeared at the top right of my screen seeking for my activation. I clicked and it said ‘Cashback Activated’. Now I just need to make purchases and I can earn up to 2% Cashback on Qoo10.sg!
Besides Qoo10.sg, other merchants include Airbnb, Zalora, Taobao, AliExpress and even Foodpanda! I can see how Cashback Buddy is going to work in my favour; I always order from Foodpanda!
For those who always shop on Taobao, you can get up to 5% Cashback for your first order plus up to 10% cash rewards too! It also helps you to earn Cashback at Taobao much easier!
But with the ShopBack extension, the search bar is embedded within the extension so you need not alternate between pages; you can just use the search bar on the extension!
