SkySymphony at SkyAvenue, Genting Highlands – Asia’s Largest Sensory Performance

When you are at Resorts World Genting, one of the main attractions that you really shouldn’t miss is the light and sound installation performance at SkyAvenue Mall. Trust me that it would make your trip worthwhile once you have seen Asia’s largest permanent winch installation titled SkySymphony coupled with the display of magnificent LED shows.

These giant LED screens, with the largest at 25m x 12m, are fitted with small LED modules that present story in a visually compelling manner. Arranged in a 360 degree angle, it allows viewers the ultimate experience of relishing in the shows wholly and comfortably.

Accompanying the LED screens are 1001 kinetic balls hung four-storey above the ground and move at an amazing speed of 17.5 meters in six seconds. Expect a stunning performance where the balls move into a series of programmed shapes and cast different colours while adjusting to the mood and pace of the storyline. The synchronisation is bound to wow audiences with the precise intricacy and beautiful imageries. Not forgetting, the music that echoes through the walls as the story progresses, hitting the right notes in our hearts.

There are currently three inaugural shows:

Forest: Embark on a journey in a bioluminescent universe where endangered species unique to Southeast Asia comes to life. Look out for exotic animals such as the Sumatran tiger, Bornean orang utan, Asian elephant, Sumatran rhinoceros, and the hornbills, depicted in vibrant fluorescent 3D gesture drawings too.

Urban Symphony: A light-hearted story on the modern world punctuated with lively music and a new groove.

The Goddess: An imagination conjured from affairs in a heavenly magical kingdom, follow these real actors as they play the role of creators.

Free for public, the shows are available by the hour, starting from 10am to midnight. Simply relax and let this be a sensory experience!
