SkyAvenue Mall Resorts World Genting – What to Eat, Play & Shop

SkyAvenue Mall at Resorts World Genting is a brand-new lifestyle mall, 6000 feet above sea level, home to a huge range of retail and F&B establishments spammed across five floors. Easily accessible from surrounding hotels, SkyAvenue buzzes with activities throughout the day with entertainment, dining and retail.

First Floor – For the love of food and satisfactory bellies

Whenever you need to grab a bite, the first floor of SkyAvenue is a gastronomic enclave with 35 F&B outlets such as Tokyo Secret, Dragon-i, Din Tai Fung, Royale Vietnam, Dome, Morganfield’s, Just Heavenly, Acme Bar & Coffee, Gong Cha, Kyochon 1991 and Tampopo.

You can also find international brands namely the famous Burger & Lobster (London), Cafes Richard (French) and pizzeria Motorino (American).

There is also a Picture House Cinema to engage in some blockbuster moments.

Second & Third Floor – Of Fashion and Luxury Affairs

The second floor would be where all the luxury shops are. Be it high-end watches, jewelry or bags, this is where I would go if I strike lottery at the casino. Looking for some serious shopping within your budget? Head over to the third floor for High Street fashion and mid to upper tier retail offerings, where the 51 retailers include Padini Concept Store, Giordano, Swarovski, Kiehl’s, Timberland, Adidas Originals, Austin Reed, Lovisa, Esprit, DC Comics Super Heroes, Mood Board, L’Occitane, Bonia, Tissot, Shu Uemura, Muse by Watson, SK-II, Thomas Sabo, Puma, and Samsung.

Forth Floor – For wallet-friendly Food and Exciting Attractions

At the forth floor lies Malaysian Food Street. This multi-cuisine food hall serves a whooping 100 different dishes carefully selected from Malaysia’s finest hawker, and they are categorised according to five distinct zones: Little India, Malacca, Teluk Intan, Kuching and Chinatown.

On the same floor, other options include the San Francisco Coffee, Pappa Rich, Mr Lok Lok, Zok Noodle House, BarBQ Plaza, Go Noodle House, Palsaik, Zok Noodles House and Ah Yat Kitchen, on the affordable range too.

When you are at Resorts World Genting, one of the main attractions that you really shouldn’t miss is the light and sound installation performance at SkyAvenue Mall. Trust me that it would make your trip worthwhile once you have seen Asia’s largest permanent winch installation titled SkySymphony coupled with the display of magnificent LED shows.

The forth floor is actually bigger than you thought. It would probably take you a day to tour through the fun activities up there. Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Adventureland wows even the adults who will be swept into a world of trick-eye illusions, interesting discoveries and life-sized playground.

Get up close to the dinosaurs in the Jurassic Research Center where they either loom in the forest or are unearthed from the ground. Whether they are Brachiosaurus, Triceratops or even the sabre-toothed tiger, I am sure names ain’t important when you would be preoccupied in amazement. Don’t forget to walk through a 4D experimental room where velociraptors wreck havoc in a discovery lab!

Have a little (or more) scare at the Zombie Outbreak as you enter an abandoned house and get chase by screeching zombies through terrifying rooms that are never-ending.

One of my favourite is the Alive Museum where the optical illusion artworks put you through a mind-blown experience – confusing the imagination with reality.

Other attractions comprises of the PlayTime! Video Games Park for arcade-goers, Spacetime Squad Virtual Reality game for an out-of-the-body encounter and Jungle Gym for the kids.

Some light bites and fast food kiosks are in the vicinity should you be hungry. They are Wendy’s, The Baker’s Cottage, Texas Chicken, Pizza Hut, Kenny Roger’s Roasters, Marrybrown, Jr Curry House and Only Mee and Boat Noodle.

The Awana SkyWay offers a fabulous bird’s eye view of the 130-million-year-old rainforest surrounding Resorts World Genting, and the site of the future Twentieth Century Fox World theme park. Sit onboard this cable car and be whisked through a dazzling height to Chin Swee Temple or the Premium Outlet.

At SkyAvenue, there are plenty of places for OOTD too!

Prices vary accordingly and some attractions can be purchased in bundles.
