Upper Thomson is lined with cafes and tucked away at one end of the road is SOD Cafe, offering wallet-friendly all-day brunch and mains and surprisingly, an exciting range of bubble teas.

Feeling hungry? SOD’s Big Brekkie $15.90 serves up a decent portion of scrambled eggs, nicely grilled chorizo bratwurst, thick bacon, sautéed mushrooms, smoky baked beans and greens alongside two slices of buttered toast, that’s worth every penny. Lovers of eggs benedicts have options like Waffle Benedict $13.90, Salmon Benedict with Buttered Buns $13.90 or simply the classic Eggs Benny on Buttered Buns $13.90. Also, new on the menu are the Chilli Soft Shell Crab on Croissant and Scrambled Eggs $15.90 and Southern Fried Chicken with Buttered Brioche $12.90 which look equally appetising.

DIY Pasta (from $9.90) is available from 12-7:30PM, where you can choose from five sauce base including Tom Yum as well as toppings like Smoked Duck, Seafood and Poached Egg. Some highlights from the mains include the newly launched One Pot Basil Seafood Stew $21.90 and Soft Shell Crab Curry Spaghetti $14.90.
