Street Food Circus & Marina Bay Carnival’s Top Things to Check Out

Regulars at food festivals and carnivals might recognise Street Food circus, a four-man roving F&B team. Established just last year, Street Food Circus has already made waves with their Truffle Lobster Croissants and Butterscotch Fish and Chips.

So, it’s hardly a surprise that the famed street food stall would make an appearance at the Marina Bay Carnival, Singapore’s largest carnival organised by Pico Pro and sponsored by Prudential Singapore. Aside from their signature dishes, what else have they got up their sleeves from now till April 2018?

Ranging from $6-8 for drinks, $10-18 for mains, and $4-8 for sides and desserts, Street Food Circus’ sinfully indulgent treats include butterscotch beer flavoured items, popcorn chicken with cheese, and the like.

New on the menu are the Chilli Crab Fish and Chips ($10), combining classic English street fare with a local twist. An upsize costs $2.

For the sweet toothed, the Butterscotch Beer Cro-Cream ($8), is not to be missed. Grab those spoons and dig into some delightfully chilly salted caramel ice cream, topped with speculoos, popcorn, and drizzled with (non-alcoholic) butterscotch beer sauce!

Or stay cool and refreshed with a Doubly Twin Cup ($6), which combines two flavours in one “cup” so you can have the best of both worlds.

With no entrance fee, the Marina Bay Carnival is every carnival and food festival lover’s dream come true. You need only pay for food and drinks, and games and rides are accessible via a token system which you can purchase at designated counters.

Daredevils especially, can delight in a dizzying array of adrenaline pumping rides, from a rollercoaster to a pirate ship. Try out the Star Flyer or Mach 5 – if you dare.

For more…grounded folk, stuffed toys, kiddie rides, and photo worthy spots abound on carnival grounds. While the Bayfront Event Space boasts more attractions and food stalls, The Promontory section rocks a chilled, laid-back vibe, with the event stage playing host to live performances.

Good news if you’re still feeling hungry – Potato Head Folk and Hyde and Co. have set up shop at the Bayfront Event Space and The Promontory respectively, so you can enjoy all your favourite F&B haunts in the same vicinity from now till April 2018!
