Super Farmers Urban Farming Kit to brighten up your mood and living space

Super Farmers is a wellness company founded to take care of your physical and emotional needs through a series of workshops and products. You can sign up for programmes in cooking and tea appreciation and purchase items like the Urban Farming Kit via their website too.

The Urban Farming Kit $39 (U.P. $45) allows you to grow your microgreens with ease and simplicity. It is a wonderful gift that not only livens up your work space but also can be use as garnishes for your meal.

The kit comes with three vegetable varieties – Kang Kong, Chinese Kale and Chye Sim. Each pot contains a pair of seed sticks, a bag of organic soil and a growing guide.

The steps are relatively simple. All you need to do is stuck the seed sticks at a 45 degree angle into the soil and add water. The seedlings will appear within a few days. I love that the kit is fuss-free and tidy, and the plants grew up really well (especially for someone like me who doesn’t have the green fingers).

Did you know that the Urban Farming Kit is also started as an initiative for the underprivileged? Each pot is lovingly assembled and packed by underprivileged elderly ladies who are supported by the AMKFSC COMNET Senior Services, an agency under the Ministry of Social and Family Development.

You can find the Urban Farming Kits at Isetan (Scotts), The Editor’s Market (Orchard 313), In Good Company (online) and Our Barehands (online).
