3. Add cooking wine and garlic.

4. Let it simmer before serving.

5. Sprinkle some chilli for an extra spice.

WATANABESEIKA Kyoto Arare Rice Cracker Sansho Japanese Pepper $5.10

Chunky, crunchy and savoury, these rice crackers leave a lingering yet subtle spicy numbing sensation on your tongue. Makes for a good pairing with some Japanese beer.

IMASHIBORI Soy Sauce Paste Red Chili Pepper & Sesame Oil $23.90

This little bottle packs a punch. The fermented seasoning is a combination of Takanotsume chilli, toasted sesame oil and moromi soy sauce. Its versatility allows it to be use in cooking or as a topping for sushi, sashimi and salad for a gourmet touch.

Soy Sauce Tuna Taco

1. Cute five seaweed circles (about palm-sized).

2. Spread a layer of rice over the seaweed circles.

3. Arrange them partially folded and air-fried for five minutes at high temperature.

4. In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise and soy sauce paste evenly.

5. Add two teaspoons of tuna mix to each rice seaweed taco shell.

6. Sprinkle some seasonings.

Enjoy while they are crispy!

With the remaining seaweed, cut them up and sprinkle over rice.
