Unagiya Ichinoji New Summer Menu & 10% off Unagi Dishes

From July to August, Unagiya Ichinoji at Suntec Sky Garden will be dishing out new seasonal offerings for the summer months. In addition, enjoy 10% off any unagi items (terms and conditions apply)!

We started with the Ichinoji Cold Somen ($29.80++).

The signature charcoal-grilled unagi, smoked duck and a Hokkaido snow crab claw sits on top of somen soused in a light cold dashi with a slice of lime for that zesty, summery finish. The set also includes a mini Salmon sashimi don with Tobiko and crab meat; Chawanmushi with a slice of unagi and bean sprout salad.

The Somen in chilled dashi is perfect for a hot day and pairs nicely with the Unagi and smoked duck. The dish is a zesty umami heaven with the dashi mixing it with the Unagi’s seasoning and the smokiness of the duck with the citrus from the lime refreshing the palette at the end. The Chawanmushi was delightfully light and moist with the unagi adding a savory note to the dish.

If you’re a seafood purist, the Ichinoji Summer Ocean Mixed Box ($36.80++) is your summer dream.

Jam-packed with Ichinoji’s signature Unagi, Maguro sashimi, Hokkaido snow crab and char-grilled Hokkaido scallops with Tobiko and crab meat. The well-seasoned Unagi plays well with the seafood sweetness of the scallops and maguro, giving the dish that sweet-savory complexity of flavors.

The treasure of seafood is accompanied by Chawanmushi with a slice of unagi and bean sprouts salad.
