Walking on Sunshine Singapore – Garden-themed Korean Fusion Cafe for Brunch, Coffee and Bar Bites

Walking on Sunshine is a breath-taking garden-themed Korean salon and cafe, located at level three of Orchard Central. The beautiful space is filled with lush greeneries, making it homely and welcoming.

It has been a few years since we last visited the cafe. There are new additions to the menu, like the Korean Pot Rice series and several pasta dishes.

The hot weather calls for some chilled drinks such as the Iced Ginseng Coffee Latte $9 and Dalgona Coffee $8.

For starters, the Fried Oysters $18 are amazeballs! Well-fried till crispy, the oyster within remains plump and juicy. Some other light bites that are good for sharing include the Cheese Stick $10, Amaebi Fries $12, Seafood Pancake $16 and Beef Bulgogi Fries $19.

For mains, the crowd-favourite Luke’s Favourite $25 comes highly recommended. The healthy bowl of mixed greens and red rice is served with a thick slab of salmon, generous amount of avocados and poached eggs.

Lovers of brunch food may also choose from Salmon & Prawn Salad $25, Sunshine Breakfast $23 and Eggs Benedict with Bacon $19, which are available all-day.

The menu even offers pizzas, burgers and meats like the hearty Korean Style Fried Chicken with Yangnyeom Sauce $26. Comprising of half chicken, the meat is tender while the skin is crispy good and coated in an irresistibly tasty sweet and spicy sauce. Definitely a must-try!

Another highlight here is the Kroffle $7, Walking on Sunshine’s signature croissant and waffle crossover. It comes in eight kinds of flavours like Mixed Berries, Lime-Avocado, Corn-Cheese and more.
