Boufe Boutique Cafe In Phoenix Park: Brunch With Unicorns And Galaxy Cakes

Boufe Boutique Cafe is nothing like the usual cafe you see around in Singapore. Located in Phoenix Park, Boufe snuggles itself amongst lush greenery surrounding the cafe. Bearing a white and sleek facade with event spaces available, the place is perfect for OOTDs, weddings, corporate events and celebration. Besides, you can find an all-day brunch menu served here while indulging in pretty cakes over coffee.

Mini Unicorn Cake $9

Coconut mousse, mango cremeux, vanilla sponge, white milk glaze, white chocolate horn and ears

We have heard so much about the unicorn cake that we know it is a must-order here. Forget the stereotype that pretty things are only good for visuals. The unicorn cake was, fortunately, tasting as good as it looked, It was light and smooth on the palette, not too sweet with a tinge of sourness as you dug deeper into the core of the cake. I found it rather well-balanced and great to have after a heavy meal too.

Milky Way $8.50

Another favourite cake of mine is the Milky Way, i.e. a cake drenched in a galaxy glaze. It was aesthetically beautiful with a glow on its surface. Again, it was creamier, moist and filled with a refreshing sourish centre.

Daisy Cake $8

Besides these gorgeous cakes, Boufe Boutique Cafe also offers an all-day brunch menu from 9AM to 6PM. Indulge in popular items such as the Triple B ($20), Brioche French Toast ($17), Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict ($19) and Truffle Mushroom Pasta ($14).

We also had the Truffle Fries ($11) topped with parmesan cheese and truffle oil as a starter, while the rest of the snacks on the menu like the Mini Mushroom Melts ($10) looked tempting to order.

Eggs Benedict $16

A decent eggs benedict with two perfectly poached eggs coated in hollandaise sauce, sitting on honey baked ham and homemade toasted brioche.

Authentic Carbonara $14

Definitely for cheese lovers, this carbonara is creamy with caramelized bacon, a sous vide egg and lots of parmesan cheese. Best with a glass of the Boufe’s homemade infused tea such as the Iced Lemonade ($5.50) and Iced Citrus Tea ($5.50) to balance out the creaminess.

Boufe is indeed a very tranquil and beautiful cafe, tuck away from the hustle and bustle of city life. A great place to chill with friends and for photoshoots as well.
