Choco Choco Cafe 3D Latte Coffee & Cakes in KSL City, JB Malaysia

I am not a fanatic over coffee. In fact, much of my caffeine intake comes from tea. But as like any humans , occasionally we would cross the line to the other end of the spectrum. Sometimes I just need a little perk-me-up and coffee is whom I turn to.

Choco Choco was an accidental find while I was on a trip in JB. It was a long day of touring the multiple floors of KSL City when I decided I needed a cuppa to lift my tired soul.

Located at the back of the mall and near Kuma Brand, Choco Choco is a humble cafe bearing a simple menu for all-day brunch, a series of sandwiches, bagel and pasta. The flip-side of the menu features their specialty coffees from the usual Espresso, Flat White and Cappuccino to Flavour Latte namely Rose, Walnut, Earl grey, Maple, Caramel and Mocha, Gourmet Tea, Chocolate and Smoothies. Display at the front counter is a variety of whole and sliced cakes for your selection.

Famous for their 3D and 2D latte art, I couldn’t help but order one for myself. The barista did a really great job with the 3D Snorlax on my Iced Earl Grey Flavour Latte RM 13.90. Besides the foam having a splitting image of an actual Snorlax, the coffee was nice and smooth too.

As it was Valentine’s Day when I visited Choco Choco, one of the cakes available was the Rose Lover Rm 17.90. A gorgeous rose appeared on top of a sponge cake; what a romantic way of having dessert!

 

Another cake that was very tempting too was the Unicorn Rm 17.90 in shades of baby blue, pink and purple!
