Fans of seafood and grilled fish can enjoy the best of everything at Fat Fish 肥鱼, a popular Chinese restaurant in Taman Melodies, Johor Bahru, that opens till 2AM!

The signatures are the grilled fish (Barramundi Fish Pot RM76.30, Red Snapper fish Pot RM97.30 and Orange Roughy Fish Pot RM198.90), Seafood Pot (from RM198) and Lobster Pot RM398. Choices for soup bases include Sichuan Hot & Spicy, Sweet Corn, Sour & Spicy, Pumpkin, Tomato and Herbal.

Elevate the pot with add-ons such as Clam RM12.90, Mussels RM15.90, Sliced Abalone RM15.90, Fresh Prawns RM19.90, Crab RM59.90 and more.

There are also cooked side dishes like Fried Squid Legs RM19.90 and Fried Fish Skin RM14.90.

Condiments (i.e. chilli and seafood sauce) are self-service. Wet towels are chargeable here.

Menu

The Barramundi Fish Pot with add-on of Clams, Chinese Cabbage RM5.90 and Mud Crab is a feast to the eye and belly. The spiciest level of the Sichuan hot and spicy soup base is indeed spicy and flavourful. The fish is tender and meaty.

There is a generous amount of clams and cabbage. The crab tasted fresh too.
