Embark on a sensory journey through seven interactive kitchens which include highlights such as the raw seafood bar, live grilled station and international and local cuisines. In the latest Hooked@Edge dinner buffet, some new items are added. Do look out for these new additions such as the Flower Crab on ice, Oatmeal Crayfish, Steamed Mussels Pot and a la minute Grilled Thai Styled Marinated Squid.

Seafood

It is definitely a seafood-licious heaven with a myriad of crustaceans on ice. Think Boston Lobsters, Alaskan crab legs, snow crabs, flower crabs, freshly-shucked oysters, scallops as well as a Knife Shaved Marinated Seafood Raw Bar featuring Diver Scallops, Prawn Tartare and White Snapper.

Japanese

Sashimi lovers would rejoice at the freshly sliced sashimi including the Hamachi, Yellow Fin Tuna, Salmon and Squid, alongside an assorted sushi counter. One of the biggest Chirashi don I have seen, the Tokusei Poke Chirashi showcases a heap of tuna chunks decorated with sesame, marinated seaweed, shredded beancurd and carrrot. You can even spot the popular ‘flying noodle’/ramen here.

Local and Peranakan

Get a taste of local flavours with the Singapore Chilli Crab with Golden Mantou, Salted Egg Yolk Crab, Edge Curry Fish Head, Curried Crispy Baby Squid, Signature Nandu Crab Briyani and Drunken Prawns with Chinese Wine!

Live Grill Station

One of my favourite spot featuring eight types of seafood and meats, grilled upon order. Don’t be shy when you ask for a mix of everything; my must-tries will always be their Hokkaido Scallops and Homemade Sausages. The Thai style marinated Squids are really good too, springy yet tender.

Cooked Dishes

At Edge, you will never grow bored of the varieties offered. I especially loved the Baked Vietnamese Scallops with Scallion and Peanuts, filled with succulent meats and crunchy peanut textures. Do savour other creations such as the Steamed Mussels Pot with spicy tomato sauce, capers and olives, Poseidon Pot Pie and Seafood Pizza.

Carvings

Available on board are the Roasted Lamb and Tom Yum Salmon which is a unique twist to the ingredients usually paired with salmon.

Made-to-order Noodles/Pasta

Moist with the taste of wok-hei and eggs, the Lala Bee Hoon got me hooked at first mouth. Alternatively, there is also Cuttlefish Tagliolini Pasta and Squid Ink Pasta too.

Antipasti, Charcuterie and Cheese

Here you can balance your meal with Salads, chew on some breads and Cheeses, and go ‘ooooh’ over the delectable Duck Rillette and appetisingly-looking Baked Salmon topped with caviar, Ikura and edible flowers.

Dessert Galore!

Save tummy space for the wide spread of desserts including cakes, shooters, chocolates, ice cream and waffles. Besides Nonya Kuehs also available on the buffet spread, some highlights are the Morella Cherry Strudel, Durian Pengat, Dulcey Nutty Gateau, Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream and Soft Chocolates.
