Teppanyaki Hamburg Nihonbashi Keisuke Bettei: Hamburgs Oozing Cheese, Free-flow Eggs and Salad

Speaking of the Ramen Keisuke Group, Chef Keisuke Takeda is no stranger to the ramen scene in Singapore. With stellar outlets including Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King, Ramen Keisuke Lobster King and Ginza Tendon Itsuki, each with its own specialties, the 12th additional of a brand-new outlet will certainly be another unique one.

All hail the Teppanyaki Hamburg Nihonbashi Keisuke Bettei, introducing the first and only concept in Singapore with a focus on ‘hamburg’ steak, the favourite national dish among Japanese.

With a concise and straightforward menu offering two mains, diners can choose either the Keisuke Prime Beef Hamburg Set (SGD 18.80) and/or the Triple Cheese Prime Beef Hamburg Set (SGD 20.80). An order of each set also entitles each diner to enjoy free-flow orders of eggs cooked any style and a line-up of 20 Japanese side dishes from a long counter! Sounds like a steal right?

Hamburg

What’s special about the hamburg is that the prime US beef patties are freshly grounded before being grilled on the teppanyaki counter, and then served on sizzling plates. That allows the interior of the patty to remain moist and juicy while the surface has a bit of charred-smokiness.

The 180g Triple Cheese Prime Beef Hamburg is one of the signature items stuffed with a medley of cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan. The wow factor lies within as you slice through the patty to reveal an oozing layer of cheese!

Definitely a sight to behold as you watch the generous amount of cheese flows out luxuriously. When savour with the beef, the combination of the tender meat and softness of the cheese interlace one another into a satisfying gooey mess.

The set also comes with a ebi furai (fried shrimp), aburaage strips (fried beancurd), and tofu with bonito flakes.

Unlimited Japanese Side Dishes (osozai)

A long counter of side dishes such as cha soba salad, pickled cabbage, potato salad and wakame that would surely leave you spoilt for choice. Some condiments and sauces are provided as well for your salads.

Desserts are also available. One of the recommendations is the coffee jelly. Very wobbly and soft while strong in coffee flavours.

Free-flow Eggs Cooked Any Style

Another highlight of Teppanyaki Hamburg Nihonbashi Keisuke Bettei is the free-flow of eggs cooked any style. There is a menu where you can choose to have it as a sunny side up, fried egg or omelet and so on. If we have to choose, we love the scrambled egg the most with its fluffiness and yolky texture that would leave you craving for more refills.
