Jenjudan 珍煮丹 Singapore – Taiwanese Brown Sugar Boba Matcha Green Tea in Citylink Mall

Singapore has no lack of bubble tea stores. They might seem the same but if you were to try and compare them side by side, you would realise how each brand has its own way of being your cup of bubble tea. Jenjudan 珍煮丹 is situated within Citylink Mall. The underground walkway leads from City Hall MRT all the way to Esplanade and Marina Square, where one could easily pass by after lunch for a drink.

Jenjudan offers lots of flavours with different toppings such as grass jelly, pudding and nata de coco.

Recommended popular ones include the Brown Sugar Boba Milk ($5.20 Medium, $6.50 Large) and Earl Grey Tea Latte ($3.90 Medium, $4.50 Large) while the Brown Sugar Lemon Winter Melon Tea ($3.90 Large), Brown Sugar Boba Thai Milk Tea ($5.20 Medium, $6.50 Large) and Brown Sugar Boba Matcha Green Tea ($5.50 Medium, $6.90 Large). 

I tried the Brown Sugar Boba Matcha Green Tea and loved it instantly.

I thought that the portion was rather decent for the price. The matcha taste was strong and slightly bitterish since I asked for zero sugar. But when mixed with the brown sugar, it was a good balance, exactly how I liked it.

The pearls were soft with a nice chew and enough to go along with the entire drink.

I also tried the large version which was too much for myself to finish!
