Manuka Paradise Singapore – Trying Manuka Honey from two brands – Mother Earth & Pouatu

Newly established local company, Manuka Paradise, aims to bring together all-things bee-related to its online platform. Currently, there’s two Manuka Honey brands which they are carrying – Mother Earth (Multifloral Honey, UMF 5+ and UMF 10+) and Pouatu (Forest Rewarewa and Kamahi Honey, UMF 5+, UMF 10+, UMF 15+ and UMF 20+). Produced in New Zealand, these honey are UMF-certified so you can be assured that you are getting the best out of the honey you are consuming.

Recognised for its various benefits from something as simple as soothing a sore throat, it can contribute to longer term results like aiding in your digestive system and treating certain skin conditions and wounds.

I tried three different bottles of Manuka honey and here’s what I thought of them.

UMF 10+ Pouatu Manuka Honey – Smoother and gentler in profile, this could easily be my everyday spread on toast or simply to be consumed straight from a teaspoon.

UMF 15+ Pouatu Manuka Honey – Richer and grainier in texture, this honey is known for its more potent nutritious value. I would have a jar of this ready on the side to be added into my tea.

UMF 10+ Mother Earth Manuka Honey – A more common brand, Mother Earth’s Manuka Honey gives off a slight herbaceous note on top of its natural sweetness. Look forward to some boosting for your skin and body wellness!
