Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant at Dempsey Hill for tasty Tacos, Burritos, Fajitas, Pork Ribs & Cocktails

Margarita’s is well-known for her Mexican cuisine, from classic favourites like tacos, burritos and enchiladas to hearty mains comprising of halibut fillet, lamb shank and tomahawk steak. If you are looking to chill and rewind while sipping on some cocktails, you would be spoilt for choice at the range of alcoholic drinks offered here!

Begin your meal with the Carne Asada – a sharing platter of grilled ribeye served Mexican style and accompanied with sides of guacamole, beans, sour cream and salsa. The beef is surprisingly tender and tasty. Meanwhile, you can also DIY your favourite combination into a wrap with the tortilla.

For those who love something crunchy, the Salsa Rojas En Verde (Corn Tortilla Chips with Red and Green Salsa) and Tacos De Cangrejo De Concha Blanda (Soft Shell Crab Tacos) are some delicious appetisers that would go really well with drinks too.

Another crowd-pleaser is the Costilitas Con Chile Ancho Y Kahlua (Chile ancho and Kahlua Pork Ribs) which features juicy tender meats drenched in an aromatic, sweet and sticky sauce, alongside a bowl of crispy chips.

The Chorizo Sonorense (Chorizo sausages) we had, however, was too salty to our liking.

Seafood lovers might be interested to try the Red Snapper Fajitas. The fish is succulent and flavoursome and similarly, comes with the standard side of Mexican spread and sauces.

Save some stomach space for sweet treats such as the Tres Leches (Mexican Three Milk Cake) and Bunuelos Con Mol De Piloncillo (flat crispy fritters with ice cream and piloncillo syrup).
