Navy Cafe – Salted Egg French Toast & Smoothie Bowls in Melaka

Just around the bend of Jonker Street in Melaka lies Navy Cafe. Parking lots are just right outside along the alley hence it’s really convenient if you are driving.

Navy Cafe gives off a homely vibe and the staffs are as equally friendly and welcoming.

The bingsu I came for was no longer in season, to which I opted for the Signature Toast RM18.50.

The thick toast was breaded in crumbs while charred at the edges. The crunchiness juxtaposed against the fluffy airy white bread had me swooning in for more.

One of the highlights was the salted egg yolk sauce contained within. Upon slicing the toast, the thick molten lava struggled to break through the pockets. The sauce was rich and savoury, yet velvety like spreading butter over your bread.

The portion was good for sharing!

For something light and refreshing, the smoothie bowls might be up your alley.

The Tropical Smoothie Bowl RM16.50 was topped with various fruits, granola and coconut flakes. They are a treat in such hot weather! There is also an option for a larger portion.
