Sushi Mastro Nikkei, Malaysia KL – Halal Restaurant for Japanese-Peruvian Dishes and Crafted Mocktails

Sushi Mastro Nikkei is a halal restaurant in Kuala Lumpur that serves Japanese-Peruvian cuisine! It is located on the second floor of Fortune Centra to which I walked up a flight of brightly lit stairs and was greeted by a bustling dinner scene.

The menu offers lots of delicious options, from appetisers, sashimi and cold dishes to sushi, maki and mains, and crafted mocktails.

The signature Seafood Shirashizushi RM75 seems to be a hot favourite here. It comes in a bowl of seasoned rice covered with chunky sashimi cuts like Salmon, Hamachi, Hon Maguro, Barramundi, Red Snapper and Malabar, as well as crunchy Tobiko, Ikura and Ama Ebi. Underneath the bed of rice is another hidden gem – slices of sweetly glazed unagi to complete the experience.

The Scallop & Seabass RM58 is another must-try for seafood lovers. The Peruvian-inspired dish is a presentation of succulent Hokkaido Scallop and Ikejime Seabass paired with tangy salsa and pea shoots respectively, atop luscious Aji Amarillo sauce.

Complement the meal with mocktails like the Chile Pina RM13.80 that has an interesting spicy touch to it.
