Wizards at Tribeca, KL – Open-faced Matcha Ravioli, Dirty Latte and Pistachio Ice Cream Sandwich

Helmed by the folks behind Yellow Brick Road cafe at Damansara Heights, Wizards at Tribeca, serves all-day brunch and coffee in a cosy leafy restaurant located at the lobby of Tribeca Service Suites Bukit Bintang.

The menu offers exciting contemporary dishes with unique twists, as well as a beverage selection of Single Origin Chocolate, Matcha Latte, Cold Brew and so on.

Brunch includes the unmissable Oscar’s Big Brekkie RM38, Avocado Toast RM33 and the popular Melting Pot RM30 (similar to a shakshouka). There are also Baos that come in various filling (like Salmon Mentaiko RM26 and Soft Shell Crab RM28), pasta and rice bowls.

The Matcha Ravioli RM34 caught my attention. It’s an interesting rendition of the Italian favourite dish, where the ravioli here is served opened-faced. The flat pasta is homemade and infused with matcha, and spread over a layer of creamy mushroom fricassee accompanied with savoury smoked duck breast. A raw egg yolk graced the middle of the dish, completed with grated cheese and pine nuts.

Dessert is a Pistachio Ice Cream Sandwich (RM28 for three pieces). Hugging the pistachio gelato are soft genmaicha-flavoured cake layers, elevated with a coat of genmaicha chocolate and rose petal garnish. The Tiramisu Bomb RM30 and Houjicha Strawberry Gateau RM30 look equally tasty too.

Meanwhile, kickstart the day with a perk-me-up Dirty Latte RM16, that’s made with double ristretto and Wizards ‘secret’ milk.
