Woodgrove Pasar Malam, 1 to 30 June 2023 – New Taro Cookies, Durian Goreng, Giant Egg Pancakes, Assorted Rosti and More!
The popular pasar malam between Woodlands MRT station and Causeway Point is back!
Named Woodgrove Pasar Malam, it will be held from 1-30 June 2023.
There are many new stalls, selling interesting food like taro cookies, egg pancakes, rosti in assorted flavours, durian goreng, savoury rice balls, Hong Kong waffles with snow ice, huge cups of watermelon juice and more!
This time, I decided to try the Taro Cookies (two for $3) which are fried on the spot and served hot. The biscuits are rolled in sesame, crunchy and not too oily. The filling is taro paste that is smooth, earthy and generous. Tasted delicious.
Some returning stalls with familiar street food/snacks include the famous ChubTutu, Stinky Tofu, grilled king oyster mushroom, Ramly Burger, Taiwanese fried chicken, Thai food, kebab wrap and so on.
There are also bumper cars, fun claw machines, mini game stalls filled with lots of cute plushies and outdoor carnival rides.
