Yoogane New Menu – Egg Roll, Ginseng Chicken Soup & Spicy Cheese Rabokki
Most of us would associate Yoogane with their famous chicken galbi, the one anyone would order with friends and watch the chicken chunks get cooked right at the table.
But do you know that Yoogane has an amazing range of appetizers and sides too?
Menu
New to the menu is the Mushroom & Cheese Egg Roll $12.80 that resembles a long omelette caterpillar stuffed with a medley of shiitake mushrooms, oyster mushrooms and cheese. Tomato sauce and mayonnaise are drizzled across the omelette roll, then touched up with sprinkles of sesame seeds and spring onions.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you. The portion is huge and good for up to four diners.
It is carb overdose with the Spicy Cheese Rabboki $12.80 where spicy Korean rice cake mixed in mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and ramyeon filled each half of the pan. Not very spicy, and definitely comfort food at its best.
Other sides include the Nakji Bokkeum $15.80 and Honey Butter Chicken Wings $12.80 where the latter is meaty and crispy.
Smaller servings of the signature Chicken Galbi (spicy, with rice cake, potato and leeks) and Chicken Bulgogi (sweet, with enoki mushrooms, bell peppers, leeks, carrots) are available so that you can reserve more stomach space for the other food!
They come in Small $14.90, Medium $22.80 and Large $30.80.
Korean Ginseng Soup is synonymous with Korean cuisine.
The Samgyetang $26.90 here features a whole spring chicken slow-cooked over four hours until tender while the broth is thick and creamy from the collagen.
Cleanse your palate with the Hwa Chae $7.80, a refreshing Korean-styled fruit punch comprising of watermelon, peach and milk.
