The Italian Artisan Week at Basilico, Conrad Singapore Orchard, kicks off with 5 days of celebration, welcoming diners to a feast of Italian excellence.

From 3 to 7 September 2025, Basilico gathers Italy’s finest, including cheesemakers, charcutiers, and chefs, for the exclusive nights.

On 4 September 2025, it was An Evening in Rome with Chef Stefano De Caro, from the acclaimed Cicerone restaurant.

Alongside Basilico’s sumptuous buffet spread, the evening unveils more signature creations to elevate the dining experience.

Watch the chef fire up with Flame-torched Scallops paired with fatty pork cheek.

Another highlight is the Beef Tartare on crusty toast, adorned with parmesan shavings for a delicate bite.

The pièce de résistance of the day is the Caciocavallo Impiccato, where the gourd-shaped cheese is melted over fire and spread over grilled bread, and garnished to perfection with nuts and preserved sour onions.

It’s an explosion of flavours, balancing sweet, savoury, and nuttiness.

It is also a pleasure to converse with various Italian masters and chefs about authentic Italian produce (i.e. tomatoes), balsamic vinegar, and olive oil, while gaining valuable insight.

Basilico, with its signature cheese spread, invites diners to explore over 50 types of cheeses like nowhere else.

Indulge in artisanal cheeses, from traditional ones to unique combinations like Gorgonzola with Chocolate and Chilli, Orange Blu, Caciovallo Affinato in Vinaccia, and more.
