KYND COMMUNITY – Bali Vegan Cafe for Brunch, Smoothie Bowls and Ice Cream

Popular vegan cafe, KYND COMMUNITY, has two outlets in Bali, namely Seminyak and Canggu. Drawing crowd in are the pleasing pastel pink interior and varied vegan options which are such a treat in the area.

Available daily from 8AM to 5PM, relish in delectable breakfast dishes, healthy smoothie bowls and brunch cocktails. Highlights include the Paradise Pancakes IDR 95K, Avo Toast IDR 80K, Big Boss Breaky IDR 95K and Shaka-Shuka IDR 80K.

From 12NOON onwards, indulge in sharing plates and heartier meals, with choices like ramen, pho and burgers.

Otherwise, drop by for some plant-based Ice Cream (IDR 35K for one scoop, IDR 70K for two scoops, IDR 95K for three scoops). Situated just beside the main dining area, the kiosk offers several ice cream flavours with your choice of dipped cones (+IDR 15K), waffles and cookies.

Unfortunately, most flavours were out of stock when I visited on a weekday night.

There are also KYND merchandise like gym clothes, bags and water bottles which seems to be aiming at promoting an active lifestyle.

The main dining cafe is spacious with indoor and alfresco seats. The outdoor area makes a nice backdrop for photos but can be quite hot in the day.

KYND COMMUNITY’s rendition of the shakshuka features a scorching skillet filled with mixed beans in spiced tomato sauce, complemented with a glorious vegan fried egg, garden herbs and sourdough toast.

The portion is generous and flavourful but it is bean overdose for me.

The Acai Bowl IDR 95K is a juicy medley of refreshing tropical fruits topped with crunchy homemade granola. The watermelon word garnish is customisable at an additional IDR 25K.

Meanwhile, the brain-freezing Oatmilk Coffee Slushie IDR 65K is a nice start for the day.
