Marsiling Bazaar, 25 Sep to 24 Oct 2023 – Tahu Begedil, Halal Rice Dumplings, Giant Grilled Squid and Swiss Rosti

The huge pasar malam beside Woodlands MRT station and Causeway Point is back. Named Marsiling Bazaar, the night market will be opened from 25 September to 24 October 2023.

Expect a wide range of street food, snacks and drinks, including more halal options.

Returning Chinese vendors continue to sell delicious grilled king oyster mushroom, sweet potato balls, fried snacks, corn in a cup, shrimp cake and more. There are a few stalls offering stinky tofu and large grilled squid, as well as a new entree dish – roast chicken skeleton.

The non-Chinese stalls feature more variety and new items in this pasar malam. There are Sarah’s Dumplings‘ halal dumplings in assorted flavours, The Original Pisang Keju‘s signature banana fritters and palm-sized tofu potato patty and Ranor Tenggiri Fresh Otah‘s freshly made otahs with various filling.

Other highlights include sushi, tempura, thai noodles and crispy pan-fried swiss rosti.

For drinks, there are refreshing mango float, bandung, milk tea and fruit juices.

On the other side of the bazaar, you can find a ‘mama shop’ selling childhood snacks and candies, claw machines and a J’Kids Amusement Park for your little ones to have fun.
