OMG Crab, JB – Korean Soy Sauce Marinated Raw Crab, Prawn, Salmon and more!

Fans of Korean marinated raw seafood would find a trip to OMG Crab worthwhile! Another noteworthy restaurant in JB that offers this Korean delicacy is Doma Korean Cuisine, at R&F Mall.

Located in Taman Melodies, Johor Bahru, also a few minutes walk from KSL City Mall, OMG Crab specialises in fresh soy sauce marinated raw seafood such as Tiger Prawns RM63, Norwegian Salmon (from RM49), Mantis Shrimp RM63 and Wild Flower Crab (from RM23).

Spicy version is available too, which includes Spicy Octopus (from RM39) and Spicy Crab (from RM39).

The Wild Flower Crab is their signature and has sizes up to VXXL, about 450 grams.

There is also a VIP menu for luxurious items like Lobster (from RM188) and King Crab (from RM988).

Complete the delicious seafood as a set or simply add on a portion of Raw Egg Yolk RM3, Fish Roe RM9, Seaweed Sheet RM4 and Kimchi RM6, to name a few.

Some other classic Korean dishes to warm up your bellies first before you hit those raw seafood are Spicy Crab Bibimbap RM39, Seafood Kimchi Ramyeon RM39, Supreme Rice Balls RM22 and Steamed Egg RM19.

The Spicy Crab (RM39 for one portion) comprises of meaty crab meat, doused in a thick, sweet and spicy sauce.

Decently priced at RM90, the Wild Flower Crab in XL size comes in three pieces, each weighing between 150-180 grams. It is marinated in their Jeju style soy sauce that is made of 29 ingredients. The sauce is light, briny and doesn’t overpower the sweetness of the soft crab meat. Crab is fresh and quite fleshy for a XL size.
