Royal Albatross Sunset Sail – Romantic Getaway for Couples at Resorts World Sentosa

Cruising aboard the luxurious Royal Albatross tall ship was an indelible experience.

Founded in 2008 by Tall Ship Adventures Pte Ltd, the Royal Albatross offers various experiences while catering to different purposes. Be it a birthday celebration, wedding solemnisation or romantic dinner date, bask in memorable moments as you sailed along the stunning Singapore skyline.

If you are looking for something unique, fun and intimate, the Royal Albatross would float your boat!

Three Packages, Thrice the Fun!

Besides the breath-taking view, the Sunset Sail Dinner Cruise takes you on a culinary journey as you sail on board from Resorts World Sentosa to Marina Bay Sands and back again, for a whole 2.5 hours.

Indulge in an international 3-course meal as you sit at the upper foredeck, with the best view across the sea. Included in this Platinum Package ($195 per adult, $145 per child) is also a welcome drink and butler-liked services. Definitely worth the night is the live performances by seasonal singers on rotation. Coupled with the ambience that shifts from a breezy evening to a romantically-lit candle dinner, this is the deal, especially great for lovers to ‘cuddle and kiss’ as put together by my partner that night.

For Gold Package ($165 per adult, $125 per child), you get to dine in the air-conditioned Grand Salon and Upper Aft Deck, alongside a hearty buffet line, live music and two bars for your drinking leisure.

The Royal Albatross sails on every Friday to Sunday, 7PM to 9:30PM. Tickets can be purchased online and we heard that the seats do run out fast too!

Impressive Live Music

We had singer KJ with us that night whose strong vocal cast melodious notes to the wind and straight into our heart. The songs chosen were trendy and relatable, accompanied by professional AC system, that filled us deeply till the end of the journey.

Romantic By-The-Sea Dinner

We had the salad platter – Prawn Waldorf Salad mixed with chopped green apple, potatoes and celery in mayonnaise dressing and topped with a crunchy prawn.

The main platter consisted of Roasted AUS Beef Sirloin Au Jus served with potatoes, Butter Seasonal Vegetable, Atlantic Prawn with Mussels in Mediterranean Sesame Seasoning, French Chicken Roulade with Wild Mushroom Sauce, Grilled Corn on Cob in Creamy Caramel Sauce, Sautéed Fine Beans with Garlic Butter and Buttery Mashed Potato.

Portion was just nice for small eaters but you could order more from the menu too!

Dessert was a rich Chocolate Brownie, Mango Pudding with Raspberry Sauce, Mini Lemon Meringue Tart and a delicious Bread Butter Pudding dripping with vanilla ice cream.

Exploring Royal Albatross

We had a quick tour of the lower decks, where we were introduced to the Grand Salon, bars and bedroom too. These places are nice to chill in and for downing some beers.

Spectacular Night-sky

As night fell, the city lights brightly lit up the sky-line. It was beautiful and we managed to catch the fireworks too!

Surely, there’s no experience that could parallel this!
