SENS Dining, a highly rated two-storey Japanese restaurant in Holland Village, has recently celebrated its 6th anniversary this year.

Taking pride in its offering of the finest and freshest ingredients, diners can be assured of the quality in each dish. The menu is extensive, ranging from delectable sashimi moriawase, sushi box and tacos to hearty grilled meats, sukiyaki, donburi and more.

Currently, there is a one-for-one Sushi Taco promotion for dining in.

A display of SENS Dining’s culinary finesse, the Yagura Ketsuga Sushi Box $88 features luxurious delicacies served in a three-storey ancient fortress.

The base is layered with marinated Japanese rice topped with assorted truffle sashimi, Ikura, edamame and an omelette embossed with the restaurant’s name.

Creamy sweet Kita Murasaki Uni, negitoro, Ikura and diced avocado graced the middle section – a sumptuous feast to the eye and belly.

At the top is premium nori and crunchy spiced walnuts which can be paired with the rest of the ingredients in whichever way you desire.

The one-for-one Sushi Tacos are available in five variants – Spider Taco (Soft Shell Crab) $11.80, Shiok Shiok Taco IShoyu Salmon Skin) $8.80, Salmon Mentai $12.50, Zara Taco (Stewed Beef) $9.80 and Angry Taco (Spicy Maguro) $8.80.

Fancy more of other sushi tacos? The a la carte ones include Ebi with Tobiko $8, Negitoro $13.20, Salmon Mentai $12.50, Hotate Uni $25.80 and Tsubugai $8.

The taco shell is thick and crunchy, like a cracker, something different from the typical corn taco.

Complement the meal with appetisers like the crispy Ama Ebi Karake (Deep-fried Sweet Shrimp) $12.50 and the decadent Oboro Kani Tofu (Home-made Crab Tofu with Century Egg) $8.
