Seorae Korean Charcoal BBQ has recently welcomed its 6th outlet in Singapore, at Northpoint City, basement one, on 12 June 2023.

Using premium white charcoal for the grilling, savour the best taste of Seorae’s quality meat cuts including their signature pork skirt meat, galmaegisal, as well as a range of decadent traditional Korean stews and side dishes.

The banchan (i.e. kimchi, seasoned zucchini, creamy macaroni, pumpkin slices, Korean sauces, garlic, onion, green chilli and lettuce) is free-flow and can be grilled too.

There is also one round of complimentary egg that can be steamed over the grill. The eggs are delicious, steamed till soft and almost custard-like.

Another interesting thing to note is that the galmaegisal is usually grilled on wire mesh while the fattier meat cuts are grilled on a BBQ stainless plate. The latter allows more juice to flow to the sides into the steamed egg, flavouring it up. Hence, remember to request for a change in the grill.

The signature Galmaegisal is a must-order as it is specially prepared via marination and hand massaging for 30 minutes in a blend of Korean spices, to give it a tender, juicy flavour.

Some other popular items include the Seorae Samgyeobsal $29.90 (premium black pork pork belly in a flower-styled Seorae cutting), Hangjeongsal $21.90 (juicy pork jowl) and Woosamgyeob $25.90 (thinly sliced US beef short plate in sweet sauce).

There is an option to add cheese to your grill to experience the cheesy meat pull. Complement this with the Kkochi Platter $22.90 comprising of various meat skewers.

Elevate the feast with stews – Sundubu Jjigae $15.90 and Samgyetang $18.90; pancakes – Haemul Pajeon $18.90; cold noodles – Mul-Naengmyeon $14.90 and more.
