Yan Ji Gourmet Seafood Soup By GoodEarth has an outlet tucked away in a corner of Far East Plaza.

The humble eatery offers a decadent range of seafood soup with different types of fish, as well as fish soup and fish porridge options.

Pricing for the seafood soup is from $11.90 to $39.80, with your choice of the most affordable dory fish to premium ones like Goliath Grouper and Crayfish. The seafood porridge starts from $10.30.

Elevate your bowl with add-ons such as Fish Maw $4, Half-Shelled Scallop $3.50 and Clams $2.30.

We had the Dory Seafood Soup $11.90 with Clams ($2.30 for ten pieces) and Batang Fish Gourmet Porridge $10.50.

Both soups are golden yellow and robust in taste.

I enjoyed the porridge version as it had a richer mouthfeel and flavour. There are lots of shallots hidden within the porridge too.

The seafood soup comes with minced pork (with a charred taste), succulent prawns, clams and fish. The dory fish is alright, but if you are feeling a bit more extravagant, I would say go for the premium fish.

There are three types of condiments available to go with your meal too. They are the chopped chilli in soy sauce, spicy chilli sauce and crispy shallot-liked flakes.
