Swissotel Merchant Court Chinese New Year Lobster Yu Sheng & Prosperity Buffet at Ellenborough Market Cafe

Usher in the Year of the Rat with auspicious buffet and prosperity takeaways at Swissotel Merchant Court.

From 10 January 2020 onwards, Ellenborough Market Cafe will present the bountiful Prosperity Buffet featuring a mix of local and Peranakan classics.

Meanwhile, the prosperity takeaway treats will be available between 10 to 31 January 2020 with signature highlights such as the Braised Buddha’s Temptation Claypot $428, Roast Combination Platter $78 (of Roast Duck with Plum Sauce, Roasted Honey-Glazed Char Siew and Crispy Golden Pork Belly) and Yu Sheng (with a choice of Fruity Lobster $110, Abalone $98 or Smoked Salmon $68).

The Fruity Lobster Yu Sheng is a beautiful presentation of sous vide Australian Rock Lobster in a crispy yam nest, surrounded by colourful fruits and vegetables.

The buffet will showcase a celebratory spread of Fish Maw Soup, Steamed Red Grouper, Babi Pongteh, Nyonya Chap Chye, Ayam Buah Keluak and more. For dinner, indulge in premium seafood like Snow Crab and Slipper Lobster in Black Pepper Sauce.

On Chinese New Year’s Eve, look forward to an enticing reunion dinner served with Marinated Abalone in Thai Dressing, Drunken Chicken and Dry Ramen with Abalone in Special Sauce.

For a happy sweet ending, feast to your heart’s content with Chinese New Year goodies, Steamed Nian Gao and the popular Durian Pengat at the dessert area.
