Zui Yu Xuan unveils $50++ 5-course Set Menu & New Dishes with Renowned Taiwanese Chef Huang Ching Biao

JUMBO Group of Restaurants has recently welcomed renowned Taiwanese chef, Huang Ching Biao, to its Zui Teochew Cuisine restaurants, namely Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine and Zui Yu Xuan Teochew Cuisine. This collaboration will see several new creations, including a 5-course set menu from Chef Huang, available exclusively at the two restaurants.

Zui Yu Xuan’s 5-course Signature Set Menu ($50++ per pax, Minimum two to dine) comprises of Teochew favourites where diners get to choose 3 items from a list of appetisers, and 1 item each from the meat, seafood, vegetable and main categories.

Look forward to must-try items such as the Live Boston Lobster Wok Baked with Fermented Bean and Garlic (Halved), Teochew Steamed Threadfin Tail, Pan Fried Kurobuta Pork Cutlet and fragrant Wok Fried ‘Kway Teow’ with Diced ‘Kai Lan’ and Preserved Radish.

Don’t miss out on the Home-made Vegetable Skin Beancurd Braised with Crab Meat, which features silky smooth tofu drenched in a copious amount of succulent crab meats.

The tofu dishes are well-executed, including the Home-made ‘Puning’ Beancurd from the appetiser section. The ‘Puning’ Beancurd is airy and crispy at the edges while paired with a light salt water sauce.

The appetiser also comes with choices like Deep Fried ‘Ngoh Hiang’, Pig Trotter Terrine and Crispy Fried Beancurd Roll Stuffed with Prawns.

Terms and conditions for the 5-course set menu:

– Open for dinner daily, from 5.30pm to 10pm (Last order: 9.15pm).
– Available till 17 January 2021
– All diners at the same table will receive the same appetisers, meat, vegetable andmain. Each diner gets to choose their own Seafood course.
– Not valid with other promotions, discounts, vouchers and JUMBO Rewards privileges, unless otherwise stated.


The new a la carte dishes available are the Double Boiled Pork Broth in Golden Pumpkin Bowl $12.80++ (a belly-warming comfort soup filled with dried conpoy) and Beef Short Ribs with Asparagus in Red Wine Sauce $18++ (ultra tender beef ribs glazed in robust sauce). Highly recommended to get both!

Three other new dishes will be unveiled coming 2021. They are the Braised Pig Trotter with Abalone, Longevity Golden Stew and Pan Fried Shrimp Paste and Pomfret Dumpling.
