Hypebeast@Uni – simpleArte by iCare.4u and Uni Gallery brings pop culture & Japanese fare under one roof

Uni Gallery by OosterBay, Singapore’s specialist sea urchin restaurant, has collaborated with simpleArte by iCare.4u, a pop art gallery that brings in curated art pieces from around the world.

Matching Uni Gallery’s continual experimentation and creative take in its dishes, Hypebeast@Uni allows diners to appreciate first-hand leading contemporary artworks up-close from renowned artists.

Enjoy your meals surrounded by collectible original pop prints on the walls. The five featured artists are Takashi Murakami, Chiho Aoshima, Steven Harrington, Shen Jingdong and up-and-coming Dutch doodle artist Stijn Valentijn.

Saw your favourite print? You can purchase the piece on the spot and 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Society of Singapore too.

As part of the ‘Hypebeast’ movement, this collaboration seeks to bring the forerunners in both pop art and food together under one roof.

The current art installation will continue till April where the next feature would be on Old Master Q.
