Jodd Fairs Bangkok Night Market – Hipster Street Food, Giant Pork Ribs, Ice Cream and Craft Beers

Bangkok’s hipster night market, Jodd Fairs, has got lots to offer! The place for the young and trendy, and those who love a little spun in their food and desserts, Jodd Fairs’ rows of stalls range from exotic street food and ice cream to craft beers and cool merchandises.

Despite arriving early on a weekday night, the fair quickly becomes crowded.

There are the crispy pancakes, fried skewers, raw marinated seafood (crab, prawn and clam), cute mung bean paste cake, fried quail egg, fried insects, fruit waffles, ice cream, mango smoothies and restaurants for hotpot and mountain pork ribs.

Known for its Leng Zabb (Volcano Pork Ribs), Diaw Maekhlong Restaurant is a must-visit. The popular dish is served with pork ribs in a clear, spicy soup, garnished with lots of cut green chillis.

Come early to avoid the queue too.

Bee Trolley by Phung Phlit is an ice cream truck, specialising in this beautiful double swirl honeycomb ice cream. Too pretty to be eaten!

Another interesting ice cream stall is Moodaeng’s Amphawa. Besides the many classic and alcoholic flavours offered here, the viral sweet fish sauce pairing with ice cream comes highly recommended too. The sweet and savoury combination is definitely an eye-opener.
