Royal Plaza on Scotts Singapore – Carousel Halal Bento Delivery for Families and Solo Diners
Prepared in Halal-certified kitchens, Carousel from Royal Plaza on Scotts is now offering eight different Family Bento sets, ten Solo Bentos, and a variety of delectable a la carte dishes for you to feast from home.
Known for its multi-cuisine concept, Carousel’s bento sets range from classic Western, Chinese, Malay and Indian food to catering to vegetarians and those seeking a keto meal.
Each Family Bento Set is priced at $65 and can feed up to four people. They come as a four-course meal which comprise of meat, seafood, vegetables and rice (except for the Garden Party and Powered by Keto sets).
We tried the Wild Wild West – a hearty feast of Ragout of Lamb with Spring Vegetables and Sun-dried Tomatoes, Spanish Seafood Stew of Prawns, Clams and Mussels with Vegetables, Oven-roasted Carrots and Swedes in Chamoula Spices and Mixed Beans Stew with Sausages and Mushrooms alongside four portions of Fragrant Saffron Rice.

Some appetising dishes I saw from the other sets include the Honey Glazed Veal Ribs with Sesame and Calamansi from Ruyi Royal Love, Chinese “Yang Chow” Fried Rice with Shrimps from Yanxi Palace and Traditional Slow-braised Beef Rendang with Desiccated Coconut from Bagus.
Don’t forget their Signature Bread & Butter Pudding ($35 for 600gm) that comes with a side of vanilla sauce too. This baked favourite follows a 40-year-old recipe and makes a truly sweet and creamy indulgence – a befitting dessert to round up your meal.
