Halal-certified Suki-Suki Thai Hot Pot Buffet at HomeTeamNS Khatib from $17.90++ per pax
The newly opened HomeTeamNS Club House at Khatib offers an additional food option for north-dwellers. Suki-Suki Thai Hot Pot, now halal-certified, is an a la carte Thai hot pot buffet, priced from $17.90++ onwards per diner.
Choose from six Thai soup bases – Clear Tom Yum, Red Tom Yum, Tom Yum Yen Ta Fo, Chicken, Khao Soi and Sweet Basil Chicken.
The Red Tom Yum we had was tangy and not as spicy as expected. This might be bearable for those who can’t take the heat and like something light and slurp-able. The Sweet Basil Chicken was too sweet to my liking. If you prefer a savoury soup base, go for the others.
Menu
There are over 40 ingredients available and at an additional $10.90++ per pax, you can order more premium items such as the Tiger Prawns, Dory Fish, Black Mussels and Wagyu. I would recommend the add on for the various seafood choices and quality beef.
The Homemade Fish Paste is also a must-try as it yields a really smooth and soft texture after cooked.
There are an interesting range of meatballs for the hot pot which include the Lobster Ball, Thai Fish Cake, Cheese Tofu, Shiitake Ball, Mixed Veg Ball and more.
Elevate your hot pot experience with Suki-Suki Thai Hot Pot’s homemade Jaew sauce (a combination of savoury, sweet, sour and spicy flavours) and Seafood Sauce.
You can also top up an extra $4.90++ per pax for Thai drinks and assorted Thai desserts like the Mango Sticky Rice, Khanom Tako (Pudding with coconut topping) and Momojaja (Bubur Cha Cha).
